For those who are not currently certified or have never taken the certification course.

Prerequisites:
|
For Pool Lifeguard - tested first night of class. Swim continuous crawl or breaststroke - 100 yards Feet first surface dive, retrieve 10 lb. brick, bring to surface from 8' depth Tread water without using arms for 1 minute (rotary kicked preferred)

($100 - includes book, certification includes FA and CPR)

Registration:

Register through the Campus Recreation G.I.T FIT Program - at the CRC Member Services desk. Pay by check, credit card, or payroll deduction.

Class Information:
|
All classes will be held in room 134
Book will be handed out first day of class
Bring a pen and/or pencil each day
Bring a swimming suit and towel each day - you will be very active while learning skills in the water, so wear an appropriate swim suit
Extra towel and a change of clothes - we do get in and out of the pool more than once in a day, come prepared
